Learn more about plants, or discover the artist in you by drawing your favorite botanical subject at a 2-day botanical drawing and painting workshop February 6, 2010 (9am-4pm) and February 13, 2010 (10am-5pm) to be held in the Library’s Media Room at the Batavia Campus, featuring artist Camille Doucet (on Feb 13). Sketch a live plant in the library or bring your own plant or picture. Funded in part by GCC's President's Innovation Award (PIA) Program, the workshop is open to all residents of Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming counties, 16 years of age and older, on a first-come, first-served basis. All artistic backgrounds and abilities are welcome. Space is limited to 15 seats and there is a required $20 materials fee.
